Together with fellow rangers and nature conservation experts from all over Europe and beyond, you will enjoy an exchange of experiences that benefits all – rangers, nature and the people living in and with it.

  • Workshops in key areas of ranger work for practical conservation, restoration & integrating human needs;

  • Case studies on species reintroduction, ecological reconstruction and more.

Theme

The 2025 event is themed Rangers – the Voice of Nature: Building a Bridge between Local Communities and Nature Conservation.

We will discuss the many ways in which rangers can rebuild the bridge between communities and nature, conserving cultural and natural heritage. Together we learn from case studies, share experiences and find ways to strengthen the role of rangers.

Host country, Romania

Where do we meet?

In 2025 the Congress will take place at Cheile Grădiștei, a tourist resort located at an altitude of 1360 meters, with a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains: Bucegi and Piatra Craiului.
