If you choose to travel by plane, the nearest airports are Brasov GHV, Bucharest OTP and Sibiu SBZ. From and to Brasov GHV airport you can take the bus. From Bucharest OTP and Sibiu SBZ airports you can take the train.

If you want to travel by train from another country to Romania, it is advisable to check in advance the availability of train tickets on bileteinternationale.cfrcalatori.ro/en/booking/search and to purchase your ticket online. If you want to travel by coach, it is important to buy your ticket in advance and plan your journey with the best route in mind.

If you decide to travel by car to Romania, there are several routes to cross the borders from Nădlac, Borș, Turnu Măgurele or Jimbolia. To reach Brasov, follow the signs for the DN1.

Location

Romania is in south-eastern Europe, on the border between central and eastern Europe. It borders Ukraine to the north, Moldova and the Black Sea to the east, Bulgaria to the south, Hungary and Serbia to the west.
